MEET YARDENA
At the age of five, Yardena began piano lessons with Mrs. Miriam Zilberman and learned to read music before she could read or write words. By eight, she had composed a Hasidic song as a birthday gift for her beloved grandfather. Yardena continued her piano studies with Prof. Eliahu Rudiakov and Prof. Edith Krauss, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Rubin Academy of Music at Tel Aviv University in 1973.
She later completed a Master of Arts degree cum laude in composition at Bar-Ilan University, under the mentorship of Prof. André Hajdu and Prof. Gideon Lewensohn, and subsequently studied with Prof. Josef Bardanashvili.
